5 Huge Reasons You Should Prepare   Recently updated !

preparedness for disaster

I’m going to start off with a simple answer: because anything can happen!

You need to prepare because there are obviously common items that screw life up for people. Natural Disasters are a problem because you can’t truly predict them. Other problems arise because some people suck.

Natural Disasters:

Mother nature shows no mercy, so if you live through one of her disasters, you should probably be prepared to deal with your situation. The following items could change your world:

  • Storms
  • Tornados
  • Hurricanes
  • Floods
  • Home Fires

Human Interference:

Some people suck and do sucky things. Those things can affect you. Some of the things that can occur to you due to the existence of people are:

  • Fights
  • Mugging
  • Burglary
  • War

Your Personal End of the World:

Just because a disaster doesn’t effect anyone else, doesn’t mean that it isn’t the end of the world as YOU know it. What if you:

Lost a Job? You could lose your home, vehicles, and certain family members. The stress you endure during a job loss can lead to crippling depression as it is.

Lost a Spouse? I don’t know about you, but losing my wife to an accident of some sort is unimaginable, but well all live and we all die. It could happen to you. What is your spouse worth to you? I know… priceless, but if you had to place a price, you could lose a breadwinner or a highly valuable support member. You could be a widowed parent.

Lost a child during a burglary? This would just be devastating to me, and I know I would need to take off of work for a while while I deal with my feelings and just life. It would be nice to have a little cash saved up for something like this.

Everyday situations:

Other simple, everyday items could cause a disruption in your day. Wouldn’t it be nice to have a good spare if your car gets a flat??? What if it was cold out and your engine locked up JUST AS MY TRUCK DID ONE DAY? It was nice that I had access to support and that I had warm clothing in the back of my vehicle while I waited.

Crazy Crap Happens:

I don’t place a lot of emphasis on most of the global destroying scenarios in my One Year Emergency Preparedness System because I know that as we prepare for our general resiliency, we will cover much of these other scenarios.

If my preps won’t cover that situation, chances are that there is no surviving it… haha, although I would probably do better than those that don’t prepare much at all! Items that may effect us in a large region, or even cause global destruction are:

  • Coronal Mass Ejections
  • Nuclear Accidents or Attacks
  • Volcanic Eruptions
  • Celestial Impact

I hope that you have begun taking steps toward preparedness. It is important that you build a life that is enjoyable every day, but also one that is extremely resilient to the jabs that life will throw at you.

By the way, I could teach you what you need to be ahead of 90% of people within just a few weeks of intense focus. You could be the most prepared person you know within a few months, and while working at your own pace, if you took my One Year Emergency Preparedness System.
